Ideal Man Program for Fraternity Chapter Members
Problem
The Chief Learning Officer wanted the Ideal Man program to mirror the student lifecycle and provide a structured personal development program for each year of college. A stakeholder analysis needed to be conducted that included national Fraternity leaders and staff, members, and alumni. I was asked to take on this role, conduct the analysis, create the program’s structure, and provide each learning journey with a name and theme.
Solution
Created a four-year program with four learning journeys, one for each year of membership. Each program has a theme: Developing Myself (year 1), Developing My Relationships (year 2), Developing My Leadership (year 3), and Developing My Future (year 4). Focused on bite-sized learning, I designed and developed each learning journey with videos, job aids, workbook pages, activities, reflection exercises, and online articles. I also designed several one-hour facilitator guides for local Chapter leaders to facilitate live sessions with members to reinforce weekly learning.
