Center Manager Curriculum for Out-of-Home Waxing Company
Problem
Standardization can be a problem for franchise-based businesses. Following a needs assessment and the development of a competency model, the organization wanted to standardize the training curriculum for Center Managers who are responsible for a wide range of functions including: recruitment, team building, operations, building a positive culture, guest service, and performance management.
Solution
Designed and developed several courses to support the new Center Manager curriculum plan. I worked under the Learning & Development Manager and led meetings with subject matter experts, designed and developed courses, and created the content with very little direction.
Results Achieved
For the Center Manager program, the client received two Gold Brandon Hall Group Human Capital Management (HCM) Excellence awards for the innovative work done on this program: Best Advance in Creating an Extended Enterprise Learning Program and Best Advance in Custom Content.
